Leather jackets can stand strong against sunlight but when it comes to exposing it to direct sunlight for long hours can cause harm. Never store wet

In case your leather jacket is wet or damp, then you should always avoid storing them. Considering that your leather jacket is made from real leather, then it will maintain some of that moisture. The main reason behind this is that real leather is pretty absorbent and comes with a porous texture as well which can absorb moisture.
